My name is Jesse Ledbetter and I am a 40 year native of the greater Richmond area. I grew up in Hanover County, swimming in the Chickahominy River, spending teenage evenings in Shockoe Bottom, and watching the transformation of the region. I come from generations of Virginians, but I've also spent time traveling/living in some other regions of this country. I've seen regions that failed to make the turns that Virginia has over that same 40 years and gathered insight on the "when's" and "why's" of how cities adapt to change.

I am a Certified Real Estate Appraiser with a background in philosophy, math, and teaching. I bring all of those passions to this blog and real estate consulting.
