2020 will prove to be memorable nationwide for many reasons. Concerning real estate, we have seen a strong run in median home prices, with a simultaneous fall in days on market. A slow down in real estate transactions in the first quarter of 2020 was quickly replaced by strong sales volume.

Henrico has seen a slower median price appreciation across the county than other areas in the region, however, still a strong 15.66%. Similar to most other regions, the county saw a steady decline of DOM throughout the year. The close of 2020 was the weakest span of time throughout the year.
